Hi i'm Eliot Tyler-Waddington. I'm a chartered accountant and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
I am passionate about helping business owners achieve their goals. To often businesses fail despite all the extra hours put in by the owner, often sacrificing their personal wellbeing.
I aim to make a difference to our clients so both business and personal goals are met.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with the family which includes our two smooth fox terrier dogs, walking, and cross country skiing.
My playing days are behind me but I still watch cricket and cycling. I also enjoy cooking and drinking wine, a bit like Keith Floyd, but like to be organised before I start.
10 years experience working in multinational companies has given me the understanding to know the impact good financial systems, financial reporting against budgets and targets, cashflow management and pricing can have on business success.
I am enthusiastic about getting your business (no matter currently how small) to set up or develop in any of these areas to improve profit and free up time so you can have the proper life work balance you deserve.
I am also keen to help minimise the tax you pay so that you keep more of what you earn.
Outside of work I spend my time gardening, walking and crosscountry skiing.
I am also a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Chartered Accountant (FCA).
I joined the team in 2019 and have recently graduated as a qualified AAT Level 4 Accounting Technician. I am now training to become a Chartered Accountant through the ICAEW qualification.
I am looking forward to gaining more experience and technical knowledge to provide our clients with ongoing support and advice in relation to business and personal taxes, business planning and financial advice.
In my spare time, I like to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym and going on adventurous walks. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I enjoy going for a walk, playing with a ball and sitting on any paper records I can find, because to be an efficient business records should be kept digitally using cloud based apps so you have more time to indulge your pets. Woof Woof.
